I’m a theoretical physicist interested in the quantum aspects of our world. My research can be broadly divided between quantum statistical mechanics and thermodynamics, quantum information theory, and the foundations of quantum mechanics. The common ground is the dealing with conceptual problems that shed light into the quantum nature of our universe, and about attempting to find simple solutions for them.
I am currently doing a postdoc at the University of Massachusetts Boston, in Adolfo del Campo‘s group. Before that I was a postdoc at Chapman University, with Justin Dressel, following my PhD with Andreas Winter and Noah Linden at the University of Bristol. My very first steps in research were guided by Rodolfo Gambini and Jorge Pullin, during my MSc at Universidad de la República, in Uruguay.
